Tiny Text: Neon Lettering

December 8th - December 9th
Stephanie Lifshutz |

We are accustomed to neon being big, loud, and powerful, but in this weekend workshop we will explore the intricacy and subtlety behind smaller neon letters. We will begin by reviewing the basic tube bending techniques and applying those skills to bending text based on a pattern. Students will also be introduced to post-production work such as wiring, mounting, and hanging a neon sign. This class is best suited for students with some previous neon experience, as we will be focused on more advanced skills.
