Youth Camps

Dive into an exciting glass technique in one of our camps! 

UrbanGlass offers a unique camp experience for young creatives inspired by the endless creative possibilities of glass. With a focus on creativity, collaboration and play, our week-long programs for middle and high school students introduce students to techniques like glassblowing, beadmaking, stained glass and more. Immersed in the exciting world of a professional art studio, students will meet new friends, make portfolio-quality artwork and discover how art and science intersect through the fascinating material properties of glass.

We offer sliding-scale pricing in an effort to provide greater access to glass education for our growing community of young creatives. Families can choose the pricing tier that fits their financial situation.

We also offer FREE camps in collaboration with STEM Matters NYC, a branch of the NYC Dept. of Education that partners with cultural institutions to provide enrichment programs for NYC public school students in grades K-12. Students are selected via lottery through an application process, with priority given to students who attend Title I schools. Classes at UrbanGlass offer students of all ages the opportunity to explore the endless possibilities of glass. Educational programming includes everything from introductory classes for all ages to master classes for professional artists, as both in-person and virtual offerings.
