There will be some demos but it will mainly be supported work time and room for students to become familiar with this material. The students can expect to leave with solid sculptures and blown vessels. Expect failures along with successes. The hot shop is a loud studio, and can get quite warm. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page. Handling glass and tools may require a certain level of dexterity and ability to lift 5-10 lbs approximately.
