Accessibility

At UrbanGlass, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all individuals, regardless of ability, can participate in our classes, work in our studios and visit our store and gallery. We understand that individuals may have unique accessibility needs, and we strive to accommodate these needs to ensure a positive and empowering experience for everyone. UrbanGlass is an ADA compliant facility including automatic doors at both entrances on Fulton Street and Rockwell Place. Service animals are welcome in the studio, we recommend booties if possible as there could be glass particles on the ground.

Our studios are accessible via automatic opening doors at the Rockwell Place entrance and by taking an elevator to the third floor.

We recognize that individuals may have diverse needs related to mobility, dexterity, and sensory sensitivities, and we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and supported. Handling glass and tools may require a certain level of dexterity and mobility and we can reasonably provide assistance and accommodations as needed.

If you have any accessibility needs or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are committed to working with you to make appropriate arrangements and facilitate your participation in activities at UrbanGlass.

We don't have air conditioning in working areas, but our studios are big and airy with tall ceilings and good airflow. We also have fans and filtered water dispensers.
