Sticky Situation: Glass Mosaic

Join us in updating this most ancient of arts – glass mosaic. We will learn to cut glass, adhere (glue) it properly to a support board and grout it to realize your unique design. Be you - the sky's the limit! All sorts of imagery is absolutely acceptable, and we will design and adhere your work to a board on day one. Flowers, butterflies, your dog or cat – Pokemon, Creeper or your favorite team’s logo – we can do it together! On day two, your glass tiles will be set, and we will grout your masterpiece (think mud!) – to complete your unique creation for you to take home. Open to all ages 11 and up, 8 with parent/caregiver.

John Drury

John Drury is a New York City-based artist, writer and teacher, living in Brooklyn with his wife and two young children. Mr. Drury holds an MFA degree from the Ohio State University (1985) and has been a recipient of the prestigious Louis Comfort Tiffany Award for the Visual Arts (1997)
