Stained Glass Projects
April 14th - May 19thLaura Carbone |
Dive into an in-depth stained glass project! Students are encouraged to develop projects that will expand their stained glass skill set, exploring techniques such as glass painting, layering, sandblasting, lead cane construction, and the construction of sculptural objects. Students will design their own pieces according to their individual interests, receiving guidance as they execute them. A basic level of glass cutting proficiency is required.
The projects courses are designed for students who wish to explore specific projects or ideas in a process that they already have some experience with, but are still looking for guidance from an instructor. This is a perfect option if you have been out of the studio for the past year but are looking for an opportunity to have technical support while working towards a new idea. Bring a few sketches or ideas to brainstorm on the first class as a starting point. Each Projects course has more specific details about prerequisite skills and/or comfort level in their descriptions.
This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
