James Akers |

A 5 night intermediate to advanced neon class dedicated to color exploration, Pattern design, basic animation and bending to patterns. Students comfortable with making basic bends and seals to a pattern will get the most out of this class. Participants will leave colorful neon lights, the ability to create a digital sketchbook of blinky designs and the skills to make many of those designs a reality!

Class Schedule:

Wednesday May 15th
Thursday May 16th
Wednesday, May 22nd (This session will meet virtually over Zoom, online meeting details will be messaged to you)
Wednesday, May 29th
Wednesday, June 5th

What to Expect:  Bombarding and electrode attachment for 6 units of neon are included in this class, as well as a transformer (power) and wiring kit. Past 6 units, students will be charged for electrode attachment and pumping at these rates. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page.

Eligibility: This is an intermediate class, experience required. Open to ages 14 and up.

Pick-up: Neon tubes will be bombarded during the weeks of class, so students should leave with finished units of neon. Should processing take additional time, students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.

This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
