Pilchuck Glass School
Pilchuck Glass School fosters and educates a worldwide community that explores the creative use of glass in art and design. The school is an international center for glass art education, drawing artists of all stripes from across the globe to share their knowledge, explore, and innovate together. Summer and Fall workshops and seasonal residencies provide the perfect environment for artists to delve into their work and learn from each other. Pilchuck supports cross-disciplinary experimentation and encourages the integration of art, craft, design, history, and technology. Session activities include presentations, discussions, demonstrations, exhibitions, collaborations, and plenty of individual work time. The Pilchuck experience is immersive—it’s a rich and fast-paced learning environment set amidst the serene, forested foothills of the Cascade Mountains overlooking the Puget Sound. New and experienced artists alike often make tremendous conceptual and artistic progress in their short time on campus. Scholarships are available for all workshops.
