The Bellevue Arts Museum in Bellevue, Washington, is getting ready to host its 64th Annual Arts/Fair from July 23rdto July 25th. The three-day event will feature 325 artists handpicked by jurors Lewis Wexler, Davira Taragin and Pamela Belyea. The artists will present work in pastels, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wearables, and wood.
The glass at the fair will range from blown glass like the Murini Vases by Dehanna Jones to kiln cast glass like the lamp-worked and kiln-cast glass Colorful Cane Chair by artist Kurumi Conley.
Among many family-friendly events there is going to be an event called arts in action where desiger Levi Belber will demonstrate glass blowing techniques. Keeping with the theme of the fair, the products created by the artist will be functional and available for purchase. The artist will also take requests and questions.
Glass has been a part of the fair from the beginning due to its flexible price ranges and colorful pieces.
