Youth Camp! Taking Shape: Intro to Stained Glass

July 13th - July 17th
Kelsie McNair |

This 3D stained glass class will explore color, light, and form through the creation of abstract glass sculptures using the Tiffany stained glass method. This class is open to beginner students who are interested in glass. Each student will learn basic glass cutting, cold working with grinders, copper foil, soldering and finally the assemblage of these sculptures. The goal of this class is to connect students to a new way of thinking about glass sculpture and form. Students will consider the stories told throughout history and find their own way of expression through cold glass. Ages 9-18.
