Your Questions Answered: A Night of Kilncast Glass

Please join us during this free evening event for a consultation on your kilncasting questions. This could entail anything from initial questions about the process, how to build a mold, and trouble shooting kiln schedules, to pros/cons of specific glasses to cast a form. This workshop will not cover demonstrations, but will help you problem solve the next steps in your project.

Dorie Guthrie

Born in 1982 in Moline, Illinois, Dorie Guthrie was first exposed to the medium when she stumbled upon a small glass studio in her hometown. Since graduating from Illinois State University in 2008, Guthrie has continued her studies, being awarded scholarships, at Corning Museum of Glass, Penland School of Craft, and Pittsburgh Glass Center where she furthered her technique.
