This fun and creative class focuses on fusing with imagery and patterns. Think of it as stained glass without the leading, or mosaics without the grout. We will organize cut pieces of glass into a collage, to be kiln fired then slumped into a mold. Techniques learned in class include cutting, painting, printing, penning and atomizing (for an airbrushed effect) different color glass. A variety of silk-screen images and patterns will be provided by the instructor. This four day class will result in 4 finished plates, perfect for the upcoming holidays or to selfishly keep for yourself. Great for beginners and those who have fused in the past but want to take it to the next level.
