The Glass Mixtape

July 9th - July 13th
Kambui Olujimi |

Over the course of this week-long class, students will experiment with combining glass and various other materials for new and unexpected sculptural possibilities. Students will use metal, wood, ceramic and paper, among other media, in combination with their glass pieces, or immersed in the glass itself. The class will take place in the hot and cold shops, allowing exploration of different methods of attaching, subtracting, and combining material. We'll experiment with blow molds, pours, adhesion and induction. Come with a willingness to experiment, and a sketchbook. Open to all levels.
