February 16th - February 17th
Victoria Ahmadizadeh |

Students will make a series of small, playful sculptures by fusing different types of glass in the kiln shop. Discussions on compatibility, annealing, and the effects of various firing temperatures will offer insight on how to achieve an array of results. Finishing techniques involving coldworking, sandblasting and low-fire enamels will be utilized to add layers of complexity to our objects. Group word association and brainstorming exercises will inform and inspire formal explorations.
