Neon Weekend

March 24th - March 25th
Ashley Goodwyn |

In this fast-paced, weekend workshop, students will manipulate a glass tube to create their own, unique neon sign. On the first day, demonstrations on equipment safety, basic bends, and good technique will lead into an afternoon of practice time. Students will use the night between classes to process what they’ve learned and come up with some ideas for experimentation, or a simple, thought out drawing. Once the students and teacher consult about their plans, the creating begins! By the end of the weekend you will have a bent sign, playful or planned, which will be pumped with gas and that you can display with pride. Open to all levels.
