Learn to use the material properties of borosilicate glass to create large scale sculptures and objects. Starting from a plan or drawing, components will be made and then formed together using annealing and kiln-manipulation techniques. Students will gain confidence in constructing complex forms and intricate shapes. This class is aimed at flameworkers with prior experience at the torch, who wish to gain a better understanding of how to join, move and create form in glass.

Beccy Feather is a British born glassmaker who lives and works in Bremerton,WA. Beccy has an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and has consistently pushed to elevate her artwork and invest in the education of the community.
