It’s Not Cheating if it Works

This six-week course is for the advanced beginner who wants to investigate adding color to their creations. In this class we will be learning all of the little tricks to make many complicated color applications a little easier. We will explore frit, color bar, simple murrini, cane and Incalmo techniques.

Students enrolled in this course have access to Student Hours- scheduled time outside of class to practice and work on projects throughout the semester. For any questions regarding this access please contact Kellie at kelliek@urbanglass.org.

Mia Sartori

Mia Sartori is a Brooklyn based artist specializing in hot glass. After receiving her BFA from Bowling Green State University in Ohio Mia has continued to explore glass as a material in relationship to common place objects, always looking to utilize and experiment with glass in different ways.
