Glass Surface Cutting Techniques

Coldworking is the collective term for the myriad techniques used to decorate or alter glass once it has cooled. In this project-based class, students will become acquainted with a selection of glass surfacing and mark making techniques. Following demonstrations in engraving, sandblasting, grinding, and polishing, students will use a combination of these techniques to realize a small work of their own design.
