August 6th - August 10thJan Janecky |
The Czech glass tradition has over 150 years of glass painting continuity. The most important period was from 1850-1940, when the family companies like Lobmeyer, Harrach or Moser developed a wide range of glass painting techniques and developed them to unique top quality. In this workshop, we will focus on traditional and original glass painting techniques from that period. We will paint on glass objects as well on flat glass. The techniques will coming from stained glass. We will use this traditional historical art language for experimenting in new ideas in art according to the students requests.
