Glass Crush: Up-Cycling Glass in the Kiln

June 27th - June 28th
Courtney McCloskey |

Join us for a weekend of experimentation as we learn how to re-use found glass and re-think what can be created from waste. Students will be encouraged to bring in found glass to cut and crush. However, glass scraps of different shapes and colors will be provided. We will cover basic skills such as cutting, fusing, slumping and re-assembling found glass into sculptural or functional objects using the heat of a kiln. Open to all ages 11 and up, 9 with parent/caregiver.
