Fused Ornaments

November 30th, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Michelle Bayat |

Using a wide variety of colorful sheet glass, you will learn how to make your own ornaments. Create your own design and patterns and learn how to cut glass to be able to layer them and place them in the kiln to melt together. We will fuse copper rings into the designs so they can hang in your home.

What to Expect: Students will make 2-4 small ornaments. After a brief demonstration, most of the class will be spent working on planning, designing, cutting, and gluing before putting works into the kiln to fuse. Read more about how to prepare for class on our Registration Info page.

Eligibility: No experience required. Open to ages 14 and up.

Pick-up: The glass needs to fire, fuse, and cool down overnight, so the students will have to return to UrbanGlass once notified to pick up their work.

This is an in-person class taking place on-site at UrbanGlass. Health and safety guidelines will be emailed to you upon registration.
