Fuse it, Carve it, Wear it: Jewelry Design with Kilnformed Glass

June 22nd - June 26th
Rachel Rader |

Starting with the basics of kilnforming, students will use glass to create a brilliant palate and interesting shapes to feature in wearable forms. The glass will then be brought to the cold shop to explore different surface treatments by carving the fused glass forms. Demonstrations will also include a basic introduction to jewelry design using metal findings. No experience in either glass or metal is required, just a love for jewelry and a desire to learn! Open to all skill levels.
