Free Demonstration Night: Neon

January 3rd, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Stephanie Lifshutz |

New York City is alight with neon signage, from storefront windows to billboard signs. In this free evening at UrbanGlass you will witness the intricate and delicate work it takes to create a neon sculpture. Over this 2 hour demonstration, you will see how to structurally bend glass tubing, and how that glass tubing is then processed and filled with one of the many noble gases to glow when it’s finally plugged in. Come to watch, learn, and ask lots of questions!

A $10 deposit is required for this event. Your $10 deposit will be refunded upon arriving for the demonstration, or you can choose to donate the deposit to UrbanGlass in support of our programs.
