Explore the techniques of working with high fire decals to decorate flat glass surfaces and learn the steps of fusing imagery. During this workshop, students will learn the process of preparing imagery for decals, cutting sheet glass, and gain knowledge of fusing schedules. Students of all skill levels will taste the varying ways to fabricate graphics onto a flat surface, and take home proper kiln schedules for methods to be covered. Having computer access with Photoshop for this class is extremely helpful but not required. Don’t have Photoshop? You can download Adobe free trial or the free alternative GIMP. Class price includes one full sheet of decals and glass for two decal fusings.
No class March 9th.
This class is a hybrid virtual/in-person class. March 2nd will be held virtually over zoom, and March 16th & March 23rd will be in-studio, with staggered studio times to ensure proper distancing protocol.
