July 16th - July 20th
Erin Dickson |

Waterjet cutting is a quick and accessible way to create multiple complex forms in glass. In this workshop you will be introduced to 2D digital drawing using vector graphic software and shown how to prepare and finalise your designs ready for machining. We will visit a local manufacturer where you will be introduced to the basics of waterjet cutting and how best to communicate with your technician to achieve maximum value. This class will also cover basic fusing and cold construction techniques.

This is an introductory class, no previous experience is necessary. However, students are expected to bring a laptop and basic computer skills are required.
