Creating Texture with Glass Beads

May 4th - May 25th
Lenise Omeasoo |

Join Lenny, creator of Antelope Women Designs, in learning the basics of beading with seed beads at home. Lenny will go over basic techniques, creating texture in your beadwork, and help you develop a variety of skills, styles, and tools to use in future projects beyond this class. Lenny will also discuss building awareness of cultural appropriation and appreciation within the vast, international history of beadwork.

Students will receive a list of materials they must purchase in order to create their projects at home - the class price does not include materials. Students can expect to spend a minimum of $40 on general supplies, and $10 or more on seed beads. A full materials list will be emailed to you upon registration. If this is prohibitive to your participation, please reach out to kelliek@urbanglass.org to discuss support options.

This is a virtual class taking place online via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you upon registration with further instructions for accessing the class.
