August 25th - August 27thSheila Checkoway |
Class will start with decorating beads with glass shards and with metals including fine silver wire, foils and leaf: silver, copper, gold. We’ll move on to making hollow glass beads with the disc method, and learning to use reduction glass techniques. Weekend days include a one hour-lunch break and stretch breaks. After demonstrations, expect to make between 6 - 10 successful objects in this class, and a couple failures, while gaining confidence and skill in the studio.
