Additional Ways to Support UrbanGlass

Support Glass Art Education and Diversity Initiatives

The Richard Yelle Fund

The Richard Yelle Fund is a cornerstone of UrbanGlass's commitment to fostering educational exploration and understanding of glass as a creative medium. This fund was established by the UrbanGlass Board of Directors in 2022 by a generous donation by the Pitterman Family Foundation.  It honors our co-founder Richard Yelle, who’s life commitment to sharing glass education continues still, and is the basis for our own motivation to offer educational programming. Your donation to this fund directly contributes to a restricted fund that is used to support scholarships and the bi-annual UrbanGlass Education Symposium.

Studio Futures: The UrbanGlass Scholarship Fund

Studio Futures is our initiative aimed at empowering young artists from the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color community aged 15-24. This scholarship fund supports a cohort of four to provide a year of glass education. Through mentorship, workshops, and access to state-of-the-art studios, Studio Futures serves as a catalyst for these students' careers in glass art.

Please consider supporting Studio Futures. Your contribution is crucial in ensuring the continuation of this impactful initiative, allowing us to keep nurturing diverse voices in the field of glass art.

Make a Difference Today
