Noted British artist Tessa Clegg, has told the GLASS Quarterly Hot Sheet that her current exhibition at Clara Scremini Gallery in Paris, where she is showing together with Frantisek Vizner, will be her last.

“I have learned that the words ‘never’ and ‘last’ shouldn’t really ever be spoken out loud,” Clegg wrote in an email response to the Hot Sheet‘s questions. “Things can always change! However, I have given up my studio, and I consider the work I have been doing to have come to a natural end.”

Clegg is known for her elegant cast glass objects that explore interior volumes. She is among the most important British artists using glass.

“Clara has produced a beautiful catalogue shared with Frantisek Vizner,” she continues. “I can remember when I was at college revering Vizner’s work, so to have completed my work sharing a catalogue with him – well it doesn’t get much better than that!”
