The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery at Tennessee Tech, a university in Cookeville, Tenessee, is requesting proposals for single-artist exhibitions for the 2011-2012, and 2012-2013 academic years. The nonprofit gallery puts on several 4-week solo exhibitions per year in a variety of media.
The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery is located on the main campus of the Tennessee Technological University, in the Roaden University Center building where the exhibition area boasts 10-foot ceilings, a 35-foot by 30-foot floor area, and running wall space totalling 131 feet. Sitters monitor the gallery during open hours, and the gallery is securely locked at other times. A substantial stipend will be awarded and expenses covered. All media will be considered.
