Get the skills to write a course proposal using a template, develop course goals and learning outcomes to give your students clear expectations, and learn how to design a syllabus that will help you structure and effectively manage your course week-by-week. This class will cover what you need to include in a syllabus, creating a course calendar with weekly assignments, grading systems, and establishing course requirements. We will discuss how to develop projects that integrate different approaches to learning and making, and learn about different research methodologies and how to find essential visual and textual resources. We will also touch on aspects of teaching online and how to use digital teaching tools to your advantage.
