Glassblowing Projects: Skills & Drills

February 12th - April 16th
Shuhei Fujii, Mia Sartori |

Ready to get back into the hotshop to work towards new or paused ideas? This class is for you! Designed for students with a solid background in the hotshop who are looking for a little more guidance, this class will offer the technical support you need to bring your ideas to life, as well as built-in work time to practice what you learn in class. Over 10 classes, there will be 6 weeks with instructors and 4 weeks of independent student work time. During class time, the instructors will focus on demonstrating foundational skills and assigning exercises for students to practice and apply to their own projects during their independent work time. Please bring sketches and ideas to the first day of class so we can plan exercises with your goals in mind!

You should have 1-2 years of experience, and feel comfortable gathering and moving through the steps of making a basic cup. Not there yet? Check out our introductory classes to build your skills.
