Join us for Give for Glass: Beadmaking at UrbanGlass! This fall, dive into the captivating world of glass art with our engaging workshops. Perfect for both experienced artists and enthusiastic beginners, learn to create beautiful glass pieces.

In these two-hour sessions, Melt colorful glass rods in the flame of a table torch to create your very own wearable beads. (ages 12+) Objects made during the lesson must cool slowly overnight, so please plan to return the following week for pickup, or contact us to arrange shipping.

Cost: $115 per session

Maria Aroche

Maria Aroche is an artist and educator at UrbanGlass, who has been dedicated to the art of flameworking since graduating from the Bead Project in 2007. Maria is passionate about the ancient art of glass, and its unique properties. She finds peace and beauty in the meditative process of melting colorful rods of glass over a flame, and transforming this molten material into glass beads to be worn and adorn.
