Flat-ish Framework

May 22nd - June 12th
Danielle Brensinger |

Working with solid borosilicate rod, students will be guided through constructing complex forms from flat drawings. Similar to raising a house, we will begin by building a two-dimensional framework from schematic illustrations. Students will learn to upend those parts and create three dimensional forms built from the ground up. Days will begin with small demonstrations and include personal instruction based on the concepts. Come with a blank-ish sketchbook and extravagant ideas!

This class has access to Student Hours for the semester, dedicated hours open to student use. Glass processes take practice, so utilize this free time in our studios to learn! For details email Kellie at kelliek@urbanglass.org.
