Mike Jess' work with glass is inspired by detailed line patterns as well as simplicity in form and color. Originally from Seattle, Mike moved to the east coast in 2017 to become better rooted in production glass making. Since his move, he has worked as an artist assistant, gaffer, and instructor at many studios around New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He currently lives in Brooklyn and makes his work at the UrbanGlass studio.
