Marta is a curator of artworks, artistic experiences, and play. She works with people of all ages, from young children to adults, exploring art materials and ideas in settings ranging from studios to classrooms, galleries, universities, and beyond. As an Artist-in-Residence and Research Fellow at Columbia University’s Teachers College Rita Gold Early Childhood Center, Marta runs the Center’s art program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. While completing a doctoral degree in art and education under the Interdisciplinary Studies Program, she teaches graduate-level courses at Teachers College and supervise student-teachers in K-12 art classrooms.
