LewAllen Galleries, which operates three galleries in Santa Fe, has opened a brand-new gallery location a 7-1/2-hour drive west in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 3,650-square-foot location is at 7036 Main Street on Gallery Row in the heart of the Downtown Scottsdale Arts District. LewAllen is known for its mix of painting and sculpture in a variety of media including glass. Its inaugural exhibition in Scottsdale is a group show entitled “From Realism to Abstraction” that includes kiln-formed and blown geometric meditations in Bullseye glass by Steve Klein and glass mosaic work by Veruska Vagen.

The Scottsdale location will also show work by glass artists with whom LewAllen has existing relationships, including John Kiley, Charles Miner, Peter Bremers, and Lucy Lyon.
