Join the Fall 2025 edition of Glass Quarterly LIVE (via Zoom on September 5th, at 2 pm EST) where we will take a deep dive into the chalk drawings of Walter Lieberman. These colorful artworks do more than diagram the complex techniques being used in the Museum of Glass Hot Shop, where he is a beloved emcee.
Curator Jabari Owens-Bailey will discuss his inspiration to literally raise Walter's distinctive chalk drawings off the floor and put them on the walls of a gallery exhibition at the museum (on view through January 2026), while Walter will be on hand to talk about the evolution of his remarkable works that both extol and explain the intricacies of glass process.
