John Burton Program To Give Out $2500 of Northstar Glass





The John Burton Program has secured and will be granting $2500 in Northstar glass to selected artists to help promote artistic freedom. In the spirit of inspiring glass artists to evaluate and appreciate their own unique and personal reasons for working with glass, grants in the amount of $250 will be awarded to ten selected artists to celebrate the start of the John Burton program. You do not need to be a JBP member to apply for the grants. To apply for the grants, please include the following information in an email to Laura Roman at johnburtonprogram@gmail.co

Please pick at least one of the following and write a short essay. Each essay should be no longer than 700 words.

1. Write an essay describing how the glass would help benefit your growth.
Or
2. Write an essay describing what you would create with the glass.
Or
3. Write an essay about what moves you about glass art.

All applications are due by March 1, 2010. The winning grant recipients will be announced and posted on the JBP site by March 15, 2010.
