Teacher's Night at UrbanGlass

April 8th, 2015
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Events

UrbanGlass is inviting teachers to take part in a fun filled and informative evening workshop on incorporating glass into your classroom and curriculum.  Because we appreciate all the hard work that  do for your students and community, we are inviting them to a free program on April 8th from 6-8pm.

During this two hour session, teachers will tour the glass art exhibitions in the Agnes Varis Art Center along with our state of the arts  glass studios.  There will be a brief presentation about the many ways UrbanGlass is working with schools and youth organizations, and lastly learn the basics of kilnformed glass through a hands on activity and explore how it can be used in the classroom.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with other teachers interested in glass, learn new skills as an educator and access the potential that UrbanGlass presents for you and your students.  Finally, all participants will be eligible for a special educator’s scholarship which will grant you a 50% discount to any of our spring or summer workshops so that you can continue your investigations.  Feel free to bring questions to the group for open discussion.

There is no charge for the evenings events but limited space is available so please sign up at the Eventbrite link below to reserve a spot for this workshop.

Thank you for your time and we hope  to see you April 8th!
