Venetian-Style Tequila Set

As the Coronavirus pandemic has ushered us into our homes these past few months, the necessity of social isolation has brought the absence of togetherness into stark relief. The common spaces in which we used to connect with friends, family, and new people - so often across a packed dining table or a loud bartop - have been reimagined through the safety of digital platforms. Through Zoom happy hours and coordinated virtual dinners, we have found creative ways to share these strange times and meals, with food and drinks still functioning as a critical social bond.

With this idea of food and drink - and the dishes we use to present and enjoy them - bringing us together, we are thrilled to partner with Deborah Czeresko to feature a one-of-a-kind Tequila Set, created exclusively for UrbanGlass. Expanding on the concept of Deborah’s legendary Venetian-Style Taco Holders, as seen on Netflix’ competitive glassblowing show Blown Away, the artist has created a complete cocktail set that includes two Venetian-Style Taco Holders, two Venetian-Style Shot glasses and a Venetian-Style Tequila Decanter with Worm Stopper to bring your happy hour plans to the next level. This playful take on a tequila set was created in support of UrbanGlass and the Audre Lorde Project.

We are so thankful to Deborah and all of the artists that have taken the time to design work in support of UrbanGlass and the artists, students, and members of the public we serve. Having our studio members as an active part of all of our efforts is an extremely special aspect of our studio community.
