Thomas Zickuhr is a neon glass/mixed media artist based out of Madison Wisconsin. With over twenty years of working with neon glass as a sculptor, Thomas uses light to help define form. Thomas instructs Neon: Light as Sculpture at the University of Wisconsin Madison as well as owns and operates Neon Lab, a Madison WI based neon glass shop. Thomas learned the craft of neon in Boulder, Colorado where he and his wife, Kristine Zickuhr lived after he attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he studied fine art and social work. Thomas lives in Madison with his wife, Kristine, their dog and three cats.
