Shannon Brunskill is a Graduate of the MFA program at the University of Texas at Arlington, and spent a year teaching Kiln Formed Glass in that program as well as at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas. Currently she owns and operates Brunskill Studios Inc. located in Dallas TX where she maintains a rigorous studio practice. During the course of her career she has studied various glass techniques with world-renowned artists at the Corning Museum of Glass, Pilchuck Glass School, and Haystack Mountain School of Craft. She has been the recipient of a Pollack Krasner Fellowship, and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally being honored as a finalist in the Stanislav Libensky Exhibition in Prague as well as the E-merge exhibition of glass artists at the Bullseye Glass Gallery in Portland Oregon where she was the Bronze award winner. She currently serves on the Artist Program and Advisory Committee at the Pilchuck School of Glass.
