Sayaka Suzuki

Instructor

Originally from Yokohama, Japan, Sayaka Suzuki teaches Glass Casting and Kilnworking at the Virginia Commonwealth University. She has also taught at The Corning Museum of Glass, Penland School of Crafts and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts amongst many others.

Her works are exhibited nationally and internationally including Washington Project for the Arts-Corcoran (DC), Mesa Contemporary Arts Center (AZ), Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art and Pensacola Museum of Art. In 2012 she received the “Kiln Caster’s Award” for Bullseye Emerge.
