Robert Beck

Instructor

Robert C. Beck studied fine arts, with a concentration in printmaking at Rollins College in WInter Park, Florida. He worked as master printer for the University of Central Florida's fine arts press, Flying Horse Editions; before he and his wife started aquaponic farming on their Urban farm in Orlando, Florida. He studied aquaponics with Dr. Wilson Lennard and Dr. James Rakocy at Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems in Apopka, FL. His work appears in the collections of museums, as well as public and private collections, including the city of Winter Park; the Morse Museum of American Art; the Museum of Florida Art and the Timucua Arts Foundation. He currently cooperates a bio-art research project, studio Hydrostatic, with his wife Sarah in Brooklyn, NY.
