Rachel is an artist who loves helping artists grow their businesses. Her vast history of working in galleries and boutiques has led her to her current path in business consultation for creatives. She balances this passion with her art practice in which she utilizes a broad spectrum of techniques to create objects that appear to have been discovered in her mythical world. Her current body of work revolves around the concept of a scientific research team called the Ancient Truth Investigators that seeks to unravel the mysteries of our Human history. Rachel holds a B.F.A. in Crafts/Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She was a 2017 resident artist at the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC as a part of the Artists’ Studios Program, and the recipient of a 2016 CGCA Flexible Fellowship at Wheaton Arts. She has shown her artwork in various galleries and museums including The Brooklyn Metal Works Gallery, The Bullseye Gallery New York, Quirk Gallery in Richmond, VA, The Racine Art Museum in Racine, WA, The Society of Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Norfolk, VA and The Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland.
