Peter Houk’s studio work includes blown and painted vessels as well as larger works in architectural settings. His blown, sandblasted, and sometimes painted pieces are in numerous public and private collections including the Corning Museum of Glass, the American Museum of Glass and the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Houk is also director of the MIT Glass Lab, which in recent years has given birth to such projects as Virtual Glass, the MIT 3D Printing Project, and the MIT Glass Band.
