Kenya Chester is a New York City - based artist who comes from a background of Industrial and Accessory Design. After completing the Bead Project in 2014, her interests turned to the sustainable nature of glass as a material. She recycles glass from Dead Horse Bay, Brooklyn, as well as vintage glassware found in antique stores. The up-cycled nature of her work makes each piece timeless, eco-conscious, and unique.
