Kalen Kaminski has worked in the photo industry as a freelance prop stylist and set designer for over 12 years in NYC. She styles and designs sets for MoMA Design Store, NY TIMES, NY Magazine, Bon Appetit, Bloomingdales, Kate Spade, etc. Alongside her prop styling career she has run her company, Upstate, for the past 11 years. Upstate focuses on the world of color experimentation through textile art, apparel, bedding, furniture, and glassware. Upstate's focus is making small batches of one-of-kind pieces of art. Kalen has lived in NYC for 15 years, and lives and works in Chinatown, NY.
