Jason Bauer

Jason Robert Bauer (b. 1986) is an American born, New York based multidisciplinary artist. His work exists as an ongoing exploration of mindful processes and technical challenges to create mental, physical and spiritual spaces through the use of sculpture, video, installation, light and sound. Bauer has been working primarily with glass for over 13 years, having extensively traveled across the states after earning his BFA from Bowling Green State University in 2010. He has been the recipient of residencies at STARworks in NC, Circle 6 Studios in AZ and Pittsburgh Glass Center. His work has been presented at The Assemblage, Lorimoto Gallery, The Bitter End and Bowery Electric in New York City, Marcia Evans Gallery in Columbus, The Hodge Gallery in Pittsburg, The Blackboard Gallery at Studio Channel Islands in Camarillo, CA, El Cluster in Bogota, Colombia, the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, VA and The Cleveland Museum of Art.
